Beautiful AND Eco-Friendly Hotel
The Nines is a new luxury hotel located in Portland, Oregon. Not only is this hotel beautiful, it is also ECO-FRIENDLY! The Nines expect to be LEED Silver Certified from US Green Building Council. Low-flow faucets have been installed to save 400,000 gallons of water each year, products used for daily housekeeping are “Green Sealed” and 50% of its energy is from renewable sources (see full article). This is a great example of how you can go eco-friendly without compromising your style.

That is an impressive hotel. So I assume their amenities are eco-friendly and organic as well...
Wow!! If I ever go to Portland, I want to stay here!!!! More specifically, in that tan, turquoise, and cream room :-)
More hotels should go eco-friendly. If one person can make a small difference by going with low-flow faucets, imagine how much of a difference a whole building with low-flow faucets can make.
Same goes for office buildings and condos and apartment buildings too.

I am as in love with turquoise these days as other bloggers, we must all be wishing for spring to get here now (well maybe it's where you are but we are only finally seeing daffodils out now).
