My Wallpaper Fetish

I am really stating to obsess over wallpaper. Wallpaper is no longer plain and boring. It’s now an art form. The sophistication it adds to any room is priceless. I especially like when wallpaper is added to one wall to give it texture and of course a focal point. Take a look at some delicious eye candy below…….

Wallpaper is certainly making a huge comeback, and especially all the larger scale patterns! Thanks for sharing your favourites!

Hi Tiaa,
Love this wallpaper feature... so much colour, and so many options. Committing to a pattern really does make the interior sophisticated.

Thank you.

Great wallpaper post! I think seeing PARTIAL wallpaper intallations may help some clients who are fearful of too much pattern. For example the fireplace wall with turquoise/brown big pattern. In this case, it takes the place of wall art. Just fabulous!

Great photos. I love the paper flanking the fireplace. Gorgeous!

You might check out this great book - Wallpaper Projects: More than 50 Craft and Design Ideas for Your Home, from Accents to Art. It's a great way to see wallpaper as more than just something for your walls! I did a post about it recently at http://www.thedesignfile.net/thedesignfile/2009/05/diy-wallpapered-stools.html.
