Orange and Blue Rooms
I am working with a client who wants her living room redone. A major piece of furniture that she wants to keep is a burnt orange sofa that is in excellent condition (I could not find a photo on the web similar to the sofa and the battery for my camera died). I did some research on the web and found these beautiful orange and blue rooms. I love the contrast of these two colors. The blue calms the orange down yet it has a fun, warm, relax feel to it. It reminds me of Summer. I plan to paint the walls light blue and perhaps add a bit of green to the mix. Be sure to check out future posts about the design process.

Great pics, and I'm not just saying that because I live in Fla Gator country! I've got an orange/blue color scheme in my landscape -- or would if anything were blooming right now!

I love this color combo, I think it's a wonderful palette. I took a photo last year that's my absolute favorite, it's orange sunflowers in a turquoise vase. It's so calming, yet cheerful! Gorgeous photos you've posted!

Great post! I'm a huge fan of warm/cool contrasts. It seems that most of the rooms I do are warm/cools. It's such a great balance.

Those are beautiful! I love the contrasts as well... we are currently renovating our home and my youngest wanted orange for his room but I have been struggling with it because he has so much blue bedding already and it's all new... but that gave me a ton of ideas! Thank you!!
